Squier '51 2005 - 2-Color Sunburst

Here we have a super-cool Squier '51 electric guitar! This build is from 2005 and in very good condition with the plastic still on the guard and humbucker.

Specs include an alder body, maple neck, birdseye maple fingerboard, Strat-style body and Tele-style headstock. It has a 9.5" radius with narrow tall frets, a satin neck finish, die cast tuners and dual string trees. The bridge is a top-loader hardtail with adjustable saddles and it has a '51 style single ply white guard. It features an HS setup with a 3-way rotary knob for pickup selection, master volume knob, and a push/pull volume pot for coil tapping.

The guitar still has the original factory plastic on the guard and humbucker after 20 years! There are some light scratches and topical marks on the instrument as well as a few small, faint dings. The hardware and satin neck show a hint of patina as well. This one was played a bit, but in some ways still looks factory clean.

The guitar weighs 7lbs 7oz. The neck measures .850 to .895 at the 1st and 12th. It has a rounded C neck shape without too much shoulder. The neck has a satin finish and plays fast. The guitar is lively, resonant and easy to play. We love the control layout with the rotary knob and option to split the bridge humbucker. Overall a cool guitar that is well-styled!
