Here we have a very cool Epiphone Shinichi Ubukata ES-355 in Pelham Blue! This signature model is in very good condition with a few modifications.
Specs include a maple body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and diamond F holes. It has Grover tuners, a Bigsby B70 vibrato and a tune-o-matic bridge. The pickups are a set of Gibson ’57 Classics.
This one has a Jeff Beck sticker on the back. It also has a Vibramate spoiler added to the bigsby. The bridge has been updated to one with roller saddles. The strap buttons are changed to Dunlop locking. The finish and hardware are pretty clean and in excellent condition. There are only light signs of handling with no real player wear.
The guitar weighs 9lbs 6oz. The neck measures .850 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped neck that is nearly flat at the apex with a full shoulder. The guitar is loud and resonant with excellent sustain. It has a surprising amount of bass and low mids acoustically, but still has good top end clarity.
It ships in the original hardshell case with skull graphic and includes the original skull graphic strap, original bridge, original strap pins, hang tags, owners manual, stickers, Kurosawa warranty card and other paperwork.
