Product Description
Here we have a vintage B.C. Rich Mockingbird! This neck through body guitar is serial number 82501 and it is in very good condition.
Specs include birdseye maple body wings, walnut stringers, a maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has 24 frets with diamond inlays and a 1 11/16" nut width. The tuners are Grover Imperials and it has a wraparound tailpiece with adjustable saddles. It's loaded with a set of DiMarzio humbuckers and has active electronics.
The guitar is in very good shape and appears to be all original. There are light dings on the surface with a few faint scratches and impressions into the wood on the back. There is a small paint chip on the upper bout and another at the tip of the horn, as well as some light chips at the fingerboard edges. The hardware shows light oxidation and age. The frets are in good shape and overall the guitar looks to have been well maintained.
This one weighs 8lbs 11oz. The neck measures .840 to .940 at the 1st and 12th. It has a medium C profile that fills out a touch higher up the register. It's a well-balanced and lively instrument with excellent sustain. It plays easily under the picking hand and is easy to bend on. Overall a great example!
Ships in the original hardshell case.
